Community Projects

Every semester, the Off Campus Student Life office spearheads a community cleanup, in partnership with our local community organizations. It's your chance to make a difference in your community by keeping Georgetown and Burleith clean and beautiful.

This fall, we'll be heading out for a community cleanup on Saturday, November 12. We'll be meeting Saturday morning at 9:00 AM at Alumni Park, on N Street between 36th and 37th (across from Alumni Square). After working out in the neighborhoods for a couple of hours, we'll return to the park for a free GUGS cookout at 11:30. (Burleith students will be meeting in the morning at a location TBD in Burleith, then can head down to Alumni Park for the cookout).

Rakes, gloves, trash bags and other equipment will be provided by OCSL and the D.C. Department of Public Works. All you need to bring is yourself (and maybe a friend)!
